I have slowly built my private practice up through word of mouth and getting connected to folks who I align with. Through my own struggles with endometriosis and Crohn’s disease I have learned so much about having empathy and compassion for people’s own body stories and experiences. My intention is to offer a container where my clients can be open with me about where they’re at and feel seen and cared for without judgement or advice.
A little more about my training…
-
Finger Lakes School of Massage 2013
I attended FLSM in Ithaca NY and graduated in 2013. I not only learned my massage technique which includes trigger point and deep tissue but also the importance of holding safe and informed space for my clients.
-
Wild Gather School of Herbal Studies 2018
At Wild Gather, I furthered my education in herbalism and social justice surrounding access to herbal medicine, healthcare and bodywork.
-
HAES
I signed the HAES (Health At Every Size) Pledge. “Health at Every Size® principles help us advance social justice, create an inclusive and respectful community, and support people of all sizes in finding compassionate ways to take care of themselves.”
I am committed to making massage therapy accessible to my clients. I am actively anti-body shaming in the bodywork field and strive to offer a safe and welcoming space for all bodies.
